Kylian Mbappe may have been the biggest star on the pitch during PSG‘s clash with Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday night but it was Jadon Sancho who stole the show.

Sancho, who returned to Dortmund on loan in January after a public falling out with Erik ten Hag, looked a player reborn at the Signal Iduna Park as his side claimed a 1-0 victory in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final.

The winger looked electric throughout and had the beating of PSG full-back Nuno Mendes all night as he put in a display that saw him claim the man of the match award after the game.

It didn’t take long for Sancho to be trending No 1 on X on the night as his quick feet caught the eye of viewers.

Fans flooded to the social media platform to hail the Englishman’s display, saying he was ‘the best player on the pitch’.
